Accidents slowing down Friday commute for some

Traffic on Friday pales in comparison with Thursday night’s delays and traffic jams during the snowstorm. But there are still some accidents popping up on major highways Friday.

Below is the most up-to-date information about crashes on major highways in Connecticut based on reports from the Department of Transportation, Connecticut State Police and local first responders.

ROCKY HILL

Interstate 91 south is seeing delays because of a two-car crash between Exits 24 and 23. The right lane is closed. Reported at 6:02 p.m.

UPDATE: 6:20 P.M. — The right shoulder is now blocked rather than the right lane.

GREENWICH

Interstate 95 south is congested between Exits 7 and 4 because of a multi-vehicle crash between Exits 5 and 4. The left lane is closed. Reported at 6:02 p.m.

STRATFORD

Route 15 north is congested between Exits 52 and 54 because of a crash involving a motorcycle between Exits 53 and 54. The right lane is closed. Reported at 5:54 p.m.
