Herald spotlight athlete: Sarena Seeger
Sarena Seeger, a senior at Fox Chapel, competed in the Tri-State Coaches cross country invitational at Cal (Pa.) on Oct. 19.
She finished first and helped the team claim second in this tuneup for the WPIAL championships. As far as college plans, she has made an official visit to Pitt and will also be making an official visit to Penn State.
She’s not sure if she will be continuing with her running.
“If I do decide to continue, it would be cross country rather than track,” she said.
She hopes to major in marketing or some other aspect of business.
