HMA seeks volunteers to update nature trail
HUNTINGTON — The Huntington Museum of Art is looking for volunteers who are available to assist with nature trail maintenance projects on Oct. 27 and 28 beginning at 9 a.m. each day. Projects include replacing water bars, fixing steps, building foot bridges and adding edging to paths.
Volunteers at all skill levels are needed and any amount of time contributed will be appreciated. No registration is necessary. Anyone planning to volunteer should meet HMA volunteers and staff in front of HMA’s Studio 1 behind the main museum building. The museum asks volunteers to bring work gloves.
The Huntington Museum of Art building, which is fully accessible, is situated on 52 acres with a nature trail system and a tropical plant conservatory. HMA’s mission statement includes a focus on art, education and nature.
