ROCKIES BLIZZARD _ Police say a Colorado man found dead after a blizzard went out during the storm to start a generator.

WILDFIRES-FIREWORKS _ Another Colorado mountain community is canceling its annual fireworks display and working on other ways to celebrate the Fourth of July. Leaders in Frisco decided last week to scrap the show partly because they say increased fire danger has become the norm at that time of year.

CIVIL WAR FLAG _ An American flag that a Maine regiment brought into battles in Louisiana and Texas during the Civil War has returned to its home state. The Portland Press Herald reports the torn and tattered 156-year-old flag has been delivered in a wooden frame to the Maine Military Museum in South Portland.

MENTAL HEALTH-COLORADO JAILS _ The Colorado Department of Human Services has agreed to speed up how soon people with severe mental illness who have been arrested get into treatment. Colorado Public Radio reports state officials signed off on a federal court agreement last week, expecting to pay out $10 million in fines this year as it works toward compliance.

FORT LEWIS COLLEGE-TRANSFERS _ Fort Lewis College in Colorado is set to start a new scholarship transfer program for graduates of San Juan College in New Mexico.



BOSTON _ Jamal Murray rankled Kyrie Irving at the Nuggets win over the Celtics in November. The playoffs will be on the minds of both teams Monday. Denver has won three straight and is a game back of top seed Golden State in the West. Boston is a game back of Indiana for the fourth seed in the East. By Kyle Hightower.
