Vancouver at St. Louis (8:30 p.m. EST). Mike Keenan faces St. Louis for the first time since he was fired last season as coach and general manager. The Canucks are 5-3-2 since Keenan took over as coach Nov. 2.



_ Steve Washburn, Panthers, scored two goals _ including the game-winner with 2:53 remaining _ in Florida’s 5-4 victory over Washington.

_ Eric Daze, Blackhawks, scored two goals in Chicago’s 3-3 tie with Edmonton.


John MacLean, New Jersey’s career points leader, joined San Jose on Sunday in a four-player trade. MacLean, who requested a trade, had 347 goals and 354 assists in 15 seasons with the Devils. San Jose also obtained defenseman Ken Sutton in return for defenseman Doug Bodger and left wing Dody Wood.


John Vanbiesbrouck made 24 saves in Florida’s 5-4 victory over Washington on Sunday to move past Mike Liut for 15th place in the career victory list with 295.
