Tree trimming work will reduce traffic

November 13, 2018

Tree trimming will spur traffic lane closures starting Wednesday.

Tree trimming and mulching along the median of Elton Hills Drive from the Highway 52 interchange to just east of the East Frontage Road will start Wednesday, according to Rochester Public Works. The contractor will close the eastbound travel lane adjacent to the median.

On Thursday and Friday, tree trimming and mulching will be conducted along Second Street Southwest from 18th Avenue to 23rd Avenue. The contractor will close the most southernly westbound driving lane to accommodate the work.

The Second Street Southwest bike lane will be closed from the entrance into Kwik Trip 23rd Avenue to allow traffic lanes to remain open.
