ABIQUIU, N.M. (AP) — Debra Hepler, the longtime executive director of the Ghost Ranch Education and Retreat Center, is retiring.
Ghost Ranch was once the home of the late modernist painter Georgia O’Keeffe.
The Santa Fe New Mexican reports Hepler announced her retirement this week during a board meeting of the National Ghost Ranch Foundation.
Ghost Ranch, one of three education and retreat arms of the Presbyterian Church, encompasses about 21,000 acres and is open year-round.
Hepler has headed the center, located about 60 miles north of Santa Fe, since 2008.
