Bourbonnais police arrested Kyle M. Moser, 22, of Kankakee, for aggravated battery on May 4. According to a report, Moser is accused of punching a man while in the parking lot in the 100 block of Main Street NW on April 27. The victim was treated for fractures to the face. A judge set his bond at $50,000.
Bourbonnais police arrested Jonathan G. Duby, 29, of Kankakee, for driving under the influence of alcohol on May 5. According to a report, at 10:48 p.m., an officer was dispatched to an accident where a vehicle hit a light pole Near Main Street NW and South Main Street. The officer spoke with the driver of the vehicle, Duby. Duby showed signs of alcohol impairment. Blood and urine samples were taken at a local hospital.
Kankakee police arrested Brian D. Reilly, 60, for driving under the influence of alcohol on May 4. An officer was dispatched to a traffic accident in the 400 block of West Station Street and spoke to the driver, Reilly. Reilly showed signs of alcohol impairment.
Kankakee police investigated a report of shots fired in the area of 900 North Greenwood Avenue and 1100 North Chicago Avenue at 9:21 p.m. on May 5. According to a report, the driver of a vehicle said his vehicle was shot at and that he struck another vehicle trying to get out of the way.
Kankakee police took a report from a man who said while he was playing a video poker machine at a business in the 1800 block of South Schuyler Avenue someone took $160 in cash that he had placed next to the machine he was seated at on May 2. Also missing was the victim’s bank card.
Kankakee County Sheriff’s police arrested Demarlo R. Crawford, 31, for possession of a firearm by a felon and filing a false police report on April 30. According to police, Crawford reported he was the alleged victim of a shooting at a Pembroke Township business on April 14. Investigators learned Crawford accidentally shot himself. A judge set Crawford’s bond at $50,000.
