SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) _ A10 Networks Inc. (ATEN) on Thursday reported a loss of $4.5 million in its second quarter.

The San Jose, California-based company said it had a loss of 6 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, were 2 cents per share.

The provider of networking technologies posted revenue of $60.7 million in the period.

A10 Networks shares have dropped 10 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $6.93, a rise of almost 7 percent in the last 12 months.
