According to the San Antonio Police Department, the child’s mother dropped him and his older brother at their father’s home on Boise Hills on Friday evening. The father was not home, so the mother left the children with two adult acquaintances of the father who were staying at his home.

This morning at 10 a.m., the San Antonio Police Department was notified that the 5-year-old was missing.

According to police, there were no signs of forced entry at the home. Officers canvased the neighborhood with the assistance of a police helicopter but were unable to find the boy.

As of 2 p.m., police had not been able to contact the boy’s mother.

Anyone with information on the boy’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 911 or 210-207-7660.
