Junior League finishes spring cleaning at Byram Pool & Park
GREENWICH — The Byram Pool and Park are ready for spring, thanks to the Junior League of Greenwich.
The JLG hosted its seventh Annual Spring Cleanup on April 27 in Byram, with the work organized by the JLG’s Done in a Day committee.
They partnered with the Greenwich Department of Parks & Recreation and Greenwich Green & Clean to execute the cleanup. Additionally, Byram Neighborhood Association helped recruit additional volunteers within the community. Volunteers of all ages planted flowers, weeded garden beds, and removed trash and debris from Byram Park and Beach.
Despite the chilly morning weather, volunteers cleaned and pruned the area so families and neighbors can enjoy the facilities during the summer. Following the cleanup, all volunteers were treated to a hotdog barbecue lunch hosted by the Byram Shore Club.
