Bundled up: Rain and wind gusts make cold mix
HUNTINGTON — The National Weather Service reported hazardous weather in Cabell County on Monday with rain and strong winds.
Crews in Huntington cleared a tree from 7th Street West after it was knocked down by winds as high as 33 mph. Meanwhile, people brought out their winter coats and layered clothing as temperatures fell to the upper 30s.
A slight chance of snow was predicted for Tuesday with highs in the low 30s. Temperatures were expected to remain in the 30s until the weekend, which could bring rain and temperatures reaching 50 degrees.
