RIO CUARTO, Argentina (AP) _ Gunman killed five bank employees seriously wounded two others during a robbery Wednesday in this northwestern city, police said.

Two suspects were arrested in a car on a road outside Rio Cuarto and about 20,000 australs (about $8,000) of the missing loot was recovered, police said.

Another $16,000 is missing, and police believe it is in the possession of five suspects still at large.

The seven victims were found face down on the floor of Banco Popular shortly before the bank was to open, said security guards who discovered them.

Rio Cuarto is a city of 150,000 people about 375 miles from Buenos Aires.
