Counseling now available for those who witnessed OD crash

HUNTINGTON — The Community Behavioral Health Clinic on the campus of Marshall University will be available to children and families who were present at the Ritter Park playground on Monday afternoon during an incident in which a vehicle crashed into a light pole following an overdose.

The clinic is located in the basement of Gullickson Hall (room GO1). Individuals can schedule an appointment by calling 304-696-3751 or by using walk-in hours, which are 12-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 12-4 p.m. on Friday.

The service is a partnership between Marshall University and the Huntington Police Department.
