Police blotter: Students detained for fighting, threats

Pearland officers recently spent time in front offices of area schools responding to several reported altercations and threats. Separate incidents involved assault against a teacher and an assistant principal, police said.

Officers also arrested a handful of juvenile suspects for theft, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and narcotics charges.

Assault

Police arrested a Pearland man, 44, on a charge of assault, family violence Sept. 24 in the 1600 block of Woody Road.

Two students were involved in a physical altercation that led to assault on a teacher Sept. 24 in the 2000 block of Cullen Parkway, police said.

Police conducted a family violence investigation Sept. 24 in the 2100 block of Business Center Drive.

A female complainant reported she was assaulted Sept. 24 in the 12000 block of Shadow Creek Parkway, police said.

Police arrested a Pearland man, 44, for aggravated assault, family violence Sept. 24 in the 4100 block of Leisure Lane.

A male student assaulted another male student Sept. 24, according to a police report filed Sept. 25 in the 3700 block of Main Street.

A student told police he had been bullied by students at school, according to a report filed Sept. 25 in the 3300 block of Manvel Road. One of the students reportedly physically assaulted him.

A male student assaulted and threatened to kill an assistant principal Sept. 26 in the 2500 block of Woody Road, police said.

A Pearland woman, 46, was taken into custody for assault by threat Sept. 26 in the 13100 block of Castlewind Lane, police said.

Police filed an assault, family violence report Sept. 26 in the 1900 block of Country Place Parkway.

Assault, family violence was reported Sept. 27 in the 3300 block of Beacon View Court, police said.

A girl told police that a boy touched her inappropriately Sept. 26 or Sept. 27 on the school bus, according to a report filed Sept. 27 in the 3300 block of Manvel Road.

Assault was reported Sept. 27 in the 2900 block of Oak Road, police said.

Police arrested a Pearland man, 32, for assault Sept. 29 in the 2700 block of Old Alvin Road.

Assault occurred Sept. 29 in the 3200 block of Berryfield Lane, police said.

Threats, harassment

An unknown person left a threatening note on a complainant’s front door, according to a police report filed Sept. 24 in the 2900 block of Pearland Parkway.

Police detained a juvenile male for making a terroristic threat Sept. 24 in the 3000 block of Old Alvin Road.

A student made a harassing prank phone call to a juvenile victim Sept. 24 or Sept. 25, according to a police report filed Sept. 26 in the 3000 block of Hatfield Road.

Police filed a harassment report Sept. 25 in the 13500 block of Sweet Wind Court.

A female complainant reportedly told police she was threatened Sept. 26 in the 1700 block of Broadway Street.

Harassment occurred between Jan. 1 and Sept. 27, according to a police report filed in the 4300 block of Summer Lane.

Police filed a terroristic threat report after one student allegedly made a concerning comment to another during class Sept. 27 in the 3100 block of Manvel Road.

Police filed a terroristic threat report Sept. 30 in the 4400 block of Leyland Drive.

Robbery

Police arrested a Spring man, 20, and a Richmond man, 18, for aggravated robbery Sept. 24 in the 2900 block of Whispering Winds Drive. Two Pearland men, ages 19 and 22, also were arrested for aggravated robbery and warrants, police said.

Police conducted a robbery investigation Sept. 27 in the 3600 block of Main Street.

Attempted aggravated robbery was reported Sept. 29 in the 11000 block of Shadow Creek Parkway, police said.

Theft

Vehicle parts were taken from a complainant’s vehicle Sept. 24 in the 3600 block of Canterbury Park Drive, police said.

Theft occurred Sept. 22 in the 2800 block of Business Center Drive, according to a Sept. 24 police report.

Police arrested a League City man, 57, for shoplifting Sept. 24 in the 10100 block of Broadway Street.

Police filed a theft and hit-and-run report Sept. 24 in the 1600 block of Garden Glen Lane.

Motor vehicle accessories were reported stolen Sept. 24 in the 16100 block of Texas 288, police said.

Theft occurred between June 27 and Sept. 25, according to a police report filed Sept. 25 in the 2800 block of Broadway Street.

Theft from a building occurred Sept. 21, according to a police report filed Sept. 25 in the 9400 block of Broadway Street.

An unknown male suspect stole items Sept. 25 from Spencer’s, 11200 Broadway St., police said.

A female victim sent more than $10,000 to an unknown person or group, according to a police report filed Sept. 25 in the 2500 block of White Falls Drive.

Police filed a theft by deception report Sept. 25 in the 2600 block of Sweet Wind Court.

Theft occurred Sept. 11, according to a police report filed Sept. 26 in the 2700 block of Westland Lane.

Theft was reported Sept. 26 in the 2500 block of Woody Road, police said.

Police filed a theft report Sept. 26 in the 3700 block of Banbury Lane.

Shoplifting was reported Sept. 26 in the 2100 block of Broadway Street, police said.

Theft occurred Sept. 11, according to a police report filed Sept. 26 in the 2700 block of Westland Lane.

A former employee shoplifted several items Sept. 27 from a store in the 2800 block of Business Center Drive, police said.

An unknown male and female suspect committed shoplifting Sept. 27 in the 1900 block of Main Street, police said.

Police took a Pearland man, 17, into custody for theft Sept. 27 in the 10000 block of Autumn Lake Trail.

A vehicle was stolen Sept. 27 or Sept. 28 in the 5400 block of Camden Lane, police said.

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported Sept. 28 in the 11000 block of Shadow Creek Parkway, police said.

A wallet was stolen from a shopping cart Sept. 28 in the 1900 block of Main Street, police said.

A male complainant reported his bicycle stolen Sept. 28 near Indigo Bay Drive and Hampton Bay Drive, police said.

Tools were reported stolen from a mechanic shop Sept. 29 in the 1000 block of Main Street, police said.

Police filed a shoplifting report Sept. 29 in the 11200 block of Broadway Street.

A shoplifting report was filed Sept. 29 in the 3600 block of Broadway Street, police said.

Burglary

Burglary of a building was reported Sept. 24 in the 13900 block of Texas 288, police said.

An unknown male suspect attempted to break into a home Sept. 24 in the 2900 block of Pearland Parkway, police said.

A wallet was stolen from a vehicle Sept. 24 or Sept. 25 in the 2600 block of Kaman Lane, police said.

Burglary of a building occurred Sept. 24 or Sept. 25 in the 12200 block of Shadow Creek Parkway, police said.

An unknown suspect forced entry into a locked building and removed items without the owner’s consent Sept. 24 or Sept. 25 in the 3900 block of Liberty Drive, police said.

Police filed a motor vehicle burglary report Sept. 25 int he 7300 block of Broadway Street.

Motor vehicle burglary occurred Sept. 25 in the 13300 block of Ravenlake Drive, police said.

Police investigated a building burglary Sept. 25 in the 3300 block of Anderwood Arbor Lane.

Police filed a burglary of habitation report Sept. 26 in the 1500 block of Pine Walk Drive.

Motor vehicle burglary occurred Sept. 19 or Sept. 20, according to a police report filed Sept. 27 in the 2200 block of Oday Road.

Burglary of a habitation occurred Sept. 27 in the 2000 block of Creekside Park Drive, police said.

A complainant reported burglary of his property Sept. 28 in the 1900 block of Garden Road, police said.

A bag was stolen from a vehicle Sept. 28 in the 2700 block of Kingsley Drive, police said.

Disorderly conduct

Two male students participated in a physical altercation Sept. 19, according to a police report filed Sept. 24 in the 2200 block of North Galveston Avenue.

Police took a Pearland man, 21, into custody for disorderly conduct Sept. 24 in the 2100 block of Venezia Drive.

Police filed a disorderly conduct report Sept. 28 in the 11000 block of Shadow Creek Parkway.

Police took a Missouri City man, 24, and Houston woman, 25, into custody for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct Sept. 29 in the 2900 block of Oak Road. A Pearland woman, 48, was arrested for interfering with public duties, police said.

Fraud, forgery

Forgery occurred Sept. 21, according to a police report filed Sept. 24 in the 2500 block of South Sacramento Street.

Police filed a fraud report Sept. 24 in the 4800 block of Industrial Drive.

Forgery took place June 1, 2008, according to a police report filed Sept. 25 in the 2800 block of Glencullen Lane.

Police completed a forgery report Sept. 25 in the 7300 block of Northfork Drive.

An unknown person obtained a loan fraudulently between Aug. 14 and Sept. 26, according to a police report filed Sept. 26 in the 1800 block of Cripple Creek Lane.

A Drug Enforcement Administration number was used fraudulently to obtain prescription drugs Sept. 25 in the 5100 block Franz Road, according to a Sept. 27 police report.

Credit card abuse occurred Sept. 28, according to a police report filed in the 12500 block of Starcroft Drive.

Identity fraud was reported Sept. 28 in the 7400 block of Stonelick Court, police said.

A complainant reported fraudulent use of his identifying information Sept. 30 in the 10200 block of Dawn Brook Drive, police said.

A complainant told police his credit or debit card number was used without consent Sept. 28, according to a report filed Sept. 30 in the 1400 block of Oday Road.

Police filed a forgery report Sept. 30 in the 2000 block of Creek Shore Lane.

Money was withdrawn fraudulently from a complainant’s account, according to a police report filed Sept. 30 in the 10000 block of Dawn Brook Drive.

Criminal mischief

Police filed a criminal mischief report Sept. 24 in the 2800 block of Oak Road.

Police detained a juvenile suspect for criminal mischief Sept. 25 in the 3800 block of West Magnolia Elms Drive.

Criminal mischief occurred Aug. 4, according to a police report filed Sept. 26 in the 10200 block of Broadway Street.

Police filed a criminal mischief report Sept. 26 in the 13600 block of Orchard Wind Lane.

A vehicle was vandalized Sept. 26 or Sept. 27 in the 3700 block of Pine Lawn Drive, police said.

Police arrested a Pearland man, 36, for discharge of a firearm in certain municipalities Sept. 30 in the 2900 block of Whispering Winds Drive.

Narcotics

Police arrested a Manvel man, 28, for possession of a controlled substance Sept. 24 in the 3500 block of Main Street.

A male student was found in possession of a vape pen filled with a yellow substance believed to be THC Sept. 26 at Pearland High School, 3775 Main St., police said.

An 18-year-old Pasadena man was taken into custody for marijuana possession Sept. 26 in the 1300 block of Main Street, police said.

Police took a Houston man, 38, into custody for possession of a controlled substance Sept. 26 in the 2200 block of Broadway Street.

A Pearland man, 30, was arrested for marijuana possession Sept. 26 in the 2500 block of Main Street, police said.

A juvenile male was found in possession of marijuana Sept. 27 in the 2300 block of North Galveston Avenue, police said.

Police took a Houston woman, 29, into custody for possession of a controlled substance and a warrant after a crash Sept. 30 in the 9900 block of Hughes Ranch Road.

Driving while intoxicated

Police arrested a Katy man, 31, for DWI Sept. 26 in the 2600 block of Old Chocolate Bayou.

A Pearland man, 48, was taken into custody for DWI Sept. 26 in the 3900 block of Bluebird Way, police said.

Public intoxication

Police arrested a Pearland woman, 24, for public intoxication Sept. 26 in the 2800 block of Oak Road.

False report

Police arrested a St. Hedwig woman, 32, for false report Sept. 27 in the 7400 block of Misty Lake Lane.

Traffic

Police arrested a Richmond man, 32, for violation of occupational driver’s license Sept. 25 in the 2500 block of South Sacramento Avenue.

A Houston man, 34, was arrested for driving while license invalid Sept. 26 in the 11200 block of Broadway Street, police said.
