The Philadelphia Puerto Rican Day Parade in pictures: Celebrating pride and rebirth

Running every year for more than half a century, the Philadelphia Puerto Rican Day Parade again filled the Benjamin Franklin Parkway Sunday with hundreds of performers, youth groups, and local organizations celebrating Puerto Rican and Latino heritage.

This year’s theme, Renacer Puerto Rico, the rebirth of Puerto Rico, celebrates the Island’s recovery a year after being devastated by Hurricane Maria.
