Voter deadlines set for special elections
BOSTON (AP) — Boston’s Board of Election Commissioners is reminding prospective new voters they have less than a month to register to vote in upcoming special primary elections.
The last day for Boston residents to register to vote, change a voting address, or change party affiliation for the April 30th primary is April 10th.
Voters will cast ballots in the upcoming special state primary election for U.S. senator, to fill the seat vacated by John Kerry.
They’ll also cast ballots in the special state primary for the 1st Suffolk senatorial district to fill the seat formerly held by Jack Hart.
The Election Department at Boston City Hall and will be open until 8 p.m. on April 10th to accommodate voters.
