In 2015, Nebraska led the nation in resettling more refugees per capita than any other state, but those numbers have plummeted as President Donald Trump’s administration has scaled back on the program. In a two-day series, the Journal Star explored the economic impact of local refugees as employees and entrepreneurs and examined how a severe resettlement cap could affect local refugee communities and the city of Lincoln.
