Duo charged in carjacking at Brunswick park, police say

BRUNSWICK, Ohio -- Two people have been charged in connection with a carjacking that happened at a Brunswick park, police said.

Deon Brown, 22, of East Cleveland is charged with robbery and Antonia Plumlee, 18, of Hinkley is charged with complicity to commit robbery in the Thursday incident at North Park, Brunswick police said in a Facebook post.

Both were scheduled to appear Wednesday in Medina Municipal Court, records say.

A 20-year-old man suffered minor injuries in the carjacking, which happened about 5:45 p.m. Thursday at the park on Grafton Road, near Hudak Drive, police said.

Police did not release any other information about the carjacking.

Cleveland police recovered the car Saturday. Brunswick police identified Brown and Plumlee as suspects and arrested them at an East Cleveland home, police said.

They are being held in the Medina County Jail, police said.
