REVERE, Mass. (AP) — The Suffolk district attorney’s office says the driver of an MBTA bus believed to have struck and killed a Revere woman this week has tested negative for alcohol and drugs.

Results of the routine tests were released Thursday.

Police are still investigating the death of 52-year-old Gayle Johnson, who was struck around 7 p.m. Tuesday on Broadway Street and dragged for six blocks.

Prosecutors have said the 56-year-old male bus driver show no signs of impairment the night of the accident. He has not been charged.
