INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) _ Favored Beau Jingles, ridden by Chris McCarron, set the pace throughout and beat Beau’s Tribute by 2 1/2 lengths in Friday night’s $44,000 allowance feature at Hollywood Park.

The Kentucky-bred 4-year-old, sidelined until late May by a minor leg injury, ran 1 1-16 miles over firm turf in 1:40 2-5 in besting a field of seven horses aged 3 and up. He paid $3.40, $2.60 and $2.10 and earned $24,200 for his third victory in six races, increasing his career bankroll to $77,400.

Beau’s Tribute, the third choice, returned $3.40 and $2.40, while Khoraz, who finished another quarter-length back, paid $2.40.
