Three arrested for alleged involvement in armed robbery of Cartersville store
Three Cartersville residents have been arrested on charges related to a March 8 armed robbery of a convenience store.
The Cartersville Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Ameri-Mart at 1153 Burnt Hickory Road March 8.
Later that same day, Cartersville Police investigators arrested Louis Cotto for his alleged involvement in the armed robbery. Police said Cotto was a part-time employee of the store.
On March 28, Cartersville Police investigators and members of the Bartow-Cartersville Drug Task Force and U.S. Marshal Service arrested Latrae Hall at his Wyndham Court residence.
Cotto was charged with Possession of a Firearm or Knife During Commission or Attempt to Commit certain Felonies, Aggravated Assault-Gun, and Armed Robbery, according to Bartow County Jail records.
Latrae Hall was charged with Armed Robbery, Possession of a Firearm or Knife During Commission or Attempt to Commit certain Felonies, and Aggravated Assault-Gun, according to Bartow County Jail records.
Hall’s mother, Tanya Hall, was arrested on a charge of Hindering Apprehension or Punishment of Criminal.
No one answered a phone call at the store to discuss the incident.
