Carnell Roby Snow Sr.

CARNELL ROBY SNOW SR., 91, of Huntington, W.Va., husband of Kathlyn Holman-Snow, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, from the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, W.Va. He was born September 19, 1927, in Galax, Virginia, son of the late Reverend Charles R. Snow and Enola Snow. After 35 years of service, Mr. Snow retired in 1991 from Marshall University, serving as Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Carnell “Pete” Snow; a brother, Roger Snow; and a sister, Vera Snow Wright. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of thirty-three years, Kathlyn Snow, as well as his stepchildren: Doris Johnson Barrow and her children Jack, Jackie, Malinda and Renee; Henry “Tommy” Johnson and his son Shane; Joan (Earl) Ball and her sons Tommy, Don and Dorsey; granddaughter, Inga (Marcus) Snow Kennedy and her children Sean, Kavon, Maia and Laila; grandson, Carnell III (Ashley) Snow and his sons Josh, Jeremy and Jarod, and Rodney Hamilton; a very special nephew whom he loved dearly, Robert “Rob” Ferguson; a devoted friend, Drema Winkfield; and a daughter-in-law, Elaine Snow; and a host of cousins and friends too numerous to mention. At his request, there will be no services. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio, is assisting the family with arrangements.
