Names of 2 killed when car hits tree released

DOUGLASSVILLE, Pa. (AP) — Authorities have released the names of two men killed when a car crashed into a tree in eastern Pennsylvania.

State police in Berks County a car heading east on Route 724 in Union Township shortly before midnight Friday failed to negotiate a curve, left the road and slammed into the tree.

Police said Monday that 21-year-old Jacob Kuhn of Douglassville and 21-year-old Dominic Bianchini of Douglassville were both pronounced dead at Reading Hospital.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
