Kids make up zombie dolls for Halloween at Guyandotte Library

October 11, 2018

Guyandotte Library hosts a "Make a Zombie Doll" event on Tuesday in Huntington.

HUNTINGTON — Things got scary at the Guyandotte Library on Tuesday evening as children resurrected old dolls into undead creations at the library’s “Make a Zombie Doll” event.

Library volunteers prepainted the donated dolls to give them a zombie-like, gray or green skin tone before the children added facial features and other details to create their own zombies in preparation for Halloween.

For another Halloween-related library activity, Guyandotte Library will host a Harry Potter Halloween Party from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 30 with potions, divination, Quidditch and other Harry Potter-themed activities.
