2 police vehicles in town collide, officers go to hospital

RAYMOND, N.H. (AP) — Two police department vehicles in New Hampshire have collided, and both drivers were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Police in Raymond say Sgt. Kerry Pomeroy was responding to a call for service Tuesday night. The vehicle’s emergency lighting and siren were activated. At the same time, Officer Nicholas Heon turned onto the road, and the vehicles collided.

Both were taken to Elliot Hospital in Manchester.

The collision remains under investigation.
