Belligerence at Taco Bell drive through likely to result in prison

March 19, 2019

KINGMAN — A Peach Springs man faces prison time after his belligerent behavior got him busted in the drive-through of a fast food restaurant.

Police reports indicate that Danny Powsey, 48, drew attention to himself when he acted rudely when interacting with staff at the window of the Taco Bell on Andy Devine Avenue in Kingman.

Deputy Mohave County attorney Kellen Marlow said an employee spotted an open container of beer in the interior of Powsey’s vehicle. Marlow said the food order was held up to provide time for police to respond to the eatery.

Officers arrested Powsey on suspicion of possession of 10 grams of methamphetamine, packaged for sale. Powsey pleaded guilty Friday to possession of dangerous drugs for sale.

Powsey faces a prison term of two to five years when sentenced April 16.
