Carl’s Jr. Coins the Next Culinary Craze, “Condimeat”

FRANKLIN, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct 9, 2018--Carl’s Jr. ®, known for one-of-a-kind craveable menu items, announced today the launch of a movement to make the word “Condimeat” official, spearheading a nationwide campaign to get the term added to the Merriam-Webster dictionary.

The brand is getting behind the new phrase — a word for meat as the most irresistible condiment — by enlisting the help of its fans. They’re calling on meat lovers everywhere to sign the petition and join the movement using #Condimeat across social media.

Carl’s Jr. defines the noun “Condimeat” as the additional protein on top of an already protein-packed, 100% Black Angus charbroiled beef burger; served this way such that the burger’s colossal flavor is amplified, augmented and accentuated. Examples: bacon, pork or pastrami on top of a burger.

The Condimeat movement is kicking off timed to the launch of the Carl’s Jr. Pastrami Thickburger, available for a limited time at participating locations nationwide.
