Emilie Charles scores five goals for CMHS girls against St. Albans
ST. ALBANS, W.Va. — Emilie Charles scored five goals and she and Elisabeth Dick combined on four as Cabell Midland (2-1-1) defeated St. Albans 8-0 Thursday in girls high school soccer.
Dick assisted Charles on the game-winning shot at 10:17. Charles followed with an assist on a Hanley Riner goal to make it 2-0. At the 32-minute mark, Charles assisted on Dick’s goal. Dick then assisted on the next two goals, both by Charles to make it 5-0 at halftime. Charles scored the first two goals of the second half, with both assisted by Harper True. Maddie Mehling set the score with a goal off a pass from Isabelle Litteral in the 58th minute.
Rayen Ciccolella earned the shutout, dropping the Red Dragons to 0-2.
Cabell Midland returns to action Tuesday at home vs. Woodrow Wilson.
