BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The Three Affiliated Tribes is opening a $24.8 million drug treatment center in Bismarck.

The Good Road Recovery Center will be an inpatient drug and alcohol treatment and recovery center for enrolled tribal members.

Work on the facility began in December 2016. The Minot Daily News reports that a grand opening ceremony is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The 20,000-square-foot treatment center sits on 11 acres and has five buildings, including male and female resident cottages with eight beds in each.

The center is designed for future expansion, with an additional 11 acres for development including transitional housing.
