A World Honey Bee Day celebration will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today in The Alley near the Newberry Street entrance. The event will focus on beekeeping, honey bee and beekeeping education and offer bee-related products.

The Aiken Community Playhouse Youth Wing will meet today at the AECOM Center for the Performing Arts, 126 Newberry St. Grades 3-7 will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and grades 8-12 will meet from 1 to 3 p.m. The program is free and allows students the chance to attend workshops on a range of theatrical skills.
