Pocatello High School rock
In Pocatello stands a big rock. Teenagers took paint to that rock and painted it in rainbow colors, signifying advocacy of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, plus, plus, plus all sorts of kinky lifestyles.
This was a good thing?
Then someone else (also teenagers, I suppose) took paint to the rock to mock and ridicule the advocacy of kinky lifestyles. Oh, and did someone utter the “H” word? Hate crime?
This was a bad thing?
Why is advocacy of kinky lifestyles for impressionable young people a good thing, but mockery of such advocacy a bad thing? Maybe it is because the loudest adult mouths in the community think it is a noble thing to encourage sexual confusion, sexual experimentation and sexual perversion.
I think both actions are harmful.
