Paula Aubry School of Dance presents Master Classes Friday: 6 p.m. Ballet with Hanna Brictson and 7:15 p.m. Contemporary with Nick Pupillo, both of Visceral Dance Chicago, at 200 N. Iroquois County Genealogical Society will offer free, two-hour family tree research sessions from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 7-11, located at the Old Courthouse Museum in Watseka. Work with a qualified researcher using the ICGS’ available tools and resources; the only cost is for copies made. Call 815-432-3730 during office hours to reserve a spot. Walk-ins are accepted.
ICGS will have its annual meeting at 7 p.m. today. There will be no election but an annual review of activities and finances. Following will be a presentation by Cody McCullough on World War I soldiers and their gear.
