Paladin Productions’ music revue features ‘Show Tunes, Standards and All That Jazz’

Paladin Productions’ annual music revue, this year titled “Show Tunes, Standards, and All That Jazz,” will open a series of performances beginning Monday, Jan. 14, with a benefit performance sponsored by ACTS at St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church, 125 Pendleton St. S.W.

The performance will begin at 7 p.m. For reservations, call 803-649-3800.

Featured singers include top local talent Brad King, Devon Hampton, Lisa Fountain and Patrick Williams, according to a news release from Paladin Productions.

This year will see the return of Kelvin Jenkins, who has performed with the group in the past.

Backing up the singers will be David Brown on piano, George Sykes on bass and Rick Hawkins on percussion. Bob Franklin will be the master of ceremonies.

This year’s musical selections will include a number of songs requested by audience members through a special online promotion on Paladin’s website at paladinproductions.org.

The program also will featuring several ensemble pieces, which patrons have indicated they particularly enjoy, according to the release.
