MINNEAPOLIS _ The Trump administration’s Department of Interior has reinstated mineral leases for the proposed Twin Metals project that seeks to mine vast reserves of copper, nickel and precious metals in northeastern Minnesota. MINNEAPOLIS _ The Minnesota Twins have placed catcher Mitch Garver on the 10-day injured list with a sprained left ankle and returned third baseman Miguel Sanó from his rehabilitation assignment. WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

KOSICE, Slovakia _ Patrick Kane scored a goal and had two assists to become the United States’ all-time leading scorer at the world hockey championship in 6-3 win over Britain on Wednesday.
