Santa Fe County names new communications coordinator
A former television and radio host has been named Santa Fe County’s new communications coordinator, effective Monday.
Carmelina Hart, who has a bachelor’s degree in humanities from the College of Santa Fe, will be paid $72,800 a year.
Hart worked in journalism for about eight years before joining the city of Albuquerque’s Planning Department as a public information coordinator.
“Carmelina Hart will provide a strategic direction for county communications moving forward and will serve as a hub of communications between Santa Fe County and the public,” County Manager Katherine Miller said in a statement. “We are excited to welcome her experience and perspective to the Santa Fe County team.”
