The day is almost here for Oktoberfest 2018
NORFOLK - Starting Friday evening beer will be drank, music played, laughter shared, and a slew of events will start for Oktoberfest 2018 presented by Bank First.
Some of the entertainment includes music from Angie Kriz and the Polka Tunes, bounce houses for the kids from Uhop, a bucket pong tournament, and of course fun in the “Biergarden”.
Lead organizer Jarad Dahlkoetter says they’ve added to the Friday night entertainment from last year.
“There are two new things going on Friday night. I’m really excited about Husker volleyball versus Michigan on the mega screen starting at 8 P.M. Just to hit one other age group we’re going to have a free teen dance also starting at 8 P.M.”
Dahlkoetter encourages women to wear a Bavarian dirndl and men to wear a lederhosen to get a free beverage.
It all kicks off at 4 Friday evening downtown Norfolk on the River Point.
