MIAMI (AP) _ O.J. Simpson says he hopes Marcia Clark's book ``sells a million copies,'' even though he called the former prosecutor a hypocrite for criticizing others who have made money from the case.

Simpson made the remarks to ``American Journal'' while golfing in South Florida. The syndicated TV show's interview will air Thursday.

Simpson said Clark, who was paid $4.2 million to write ``Without a Doubt'' about prosecuting the former football star for double murder, was wrong ``to criticize every defense witness on the stand for trying to make money from this case.''

Simpson was acquitted in 1995 of the slayings of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. A civil jury found Simpson liable in the slayings earlier this year.

Simpson also said he's not dating, but added: ``I'm available. You have to live on a golf course and be able to support me and my family.''
