$11B Retail Chain Renews Kobiton to Accelerate Mobile App Testing

ATLANTA, Sept. 04, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kobiton, the mobile testing platform that centralizes mobile app testing across public, local and private devices, announced renewal of a large contract with an $11 billion national retailer. The retail chain, which has over 30,000 employees and over 1,200 stores across the U.S., represents a pervasive industry need to reduce the time and cost of getting mobile retail apps to market.

At the top of retailers’ priority lists are any apps that improve CX, such as self-service, MobilePay and AI. According to recent reports, 16 percent1 of consumers said they would spend more for a positive customer experience. However, with app abandonment hovering around 24%, it is clear that companies need to invest more in the mobile experience so as to not hurt the Customer Experience.

Kobiton reduces the cost of testing mobile retail apps. This is essential, Lee says, given that 36 percent of organizations spent more than $100,000 on mobile testing last year and 79 percent will spend even more next year.
