TYNGSBORO -- The Academy of Notre Dame school collected over 12 boxes of toys for the Toys for Tots campaign this year.

The toys are distributed to local families in Essex and Middlesex counties who are in need. The school worked with Sergeant Christopher Harjo, the Toys for Tots Coordinator.

“Toys for Tots is a great opportunity for us, as parents, to teach our children the gift of giving to those who are less fortunate,” said Marie McNamara, the Toys for Tots ambassador for Notre Dame Academy.

“I believe in this program, and that no child should ever go without a gift on Christmas Day,” she said.
