ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) _ Right tackle Mike Williams slightly hyperextended his left knee during Buffalo Bills practice Thursday, but is expected to play at Denver this weekend.
Williams, the fourth player selected in last April’s draft, came up limping during pass-blocking drills when his foot appeared to get caught in the turf as he was backing up. He walked off the field on his own, and headed straight for the trainer’s room.
Soon after, he was followed off the field by left tackle Jonas Jennings, who complained of cramps in his right leg.
Coach Gregg Williams said Mike Williams’ status will be listed as probable for Sunday’s game, and that both linemen were expected to practice Friday.
