Roffman Qualifies for Nationals

BRONX, N.Y. -- Littleton High star Sarah Roffman qualified for nationals when she finished ninth at the Northeast Foot Locker cross country race in Van Cortlandt Park on Sunday.

Roffman finished in 18:12.10. Her sister, Kaitlyn Roffman, came in 24th in 19:04.10.

The top 10 boys and the top 10 girls in the seeded races qualify to compete against runners from the Midwest, South and West Regional meets in the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships National Finals.

That event is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 8 in San Diego.

Littleton’s Calli Morvay came in 30th in the sophomore race.

Riley and McKenzie Clark also ran in the championship race and Hannah Orton ran in the junior race.

The girls winner was Sydney Masciarelli of Northbridge, Mass., in 17:12.6.
