LOWELL -- Holiday shopping paid dividends for a Lowell resident at Natick Mall last weekend.

Neang Peov won a $4 million prize from a “100X” instant ticket she purchased for $10 from Happy Corner, a store in the mall, according to a press release from the Massachusetts State Lottery.

Peov visited the lottery headquarters with her husband Bunrith Peov to claim her prize Monday morning. She chose the cash option and received a one-time payment of $2.6 million, according to the release.

She plans to use her winnings to pay off their mortgage and invest in retirement.

According to the release, Happy Corner will receive a $40,000 bonus for the sale of the ticket.

Peov is the second $4 million winner in the state. Three more $4 million prizes and ten $1 million prizes are still available in the 100X instant game.
