NEW YORK (AP) _ Illiquidity survived a steward's inquiry and gained a neck victory in the $43,000 turf feature for mares 3 and older at Belmont Park Thursday.

Eze finished second in the 10-horse field. It was another 3 3/4 lengths to Forever Cindy.

Illiquidity bore out nearing the wire but was deemed not to have interfered with Eze.

Illiquidity, who raced coupled in the wagering with Hedge Ratio, carried 116 pounds with John Velazquez over one mile in 1:34. She earned $25,800 for Klaravich Stables with her second win in five starts this year.

The winning entry returned $6.10, $3 and $2.50. Eze paid $3.20 and $2.80 and Forever Cindy was $9.50 to show.
