Karim Esmailzadeh P.E. -- Rochester

Karim Esmailzadeh P.E., age 82, of Rochester, passed away early Sunday morning, Nov. 25, 2018, at his home, of natural causes.

A small family burial was held on Tuesday, Nov. 27.

He is survived by Ruth, his loving, devoted wife of 55 years; their children, Sheila (son-in-law, Michael Barthel) and Hussein “Huss;” and grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica and Jacob.

Karim became a nationalized citizen in 1976 and was proud to be an American citizen. He received his master’s degree in engineering from the University of North Dakota and was a highly intelligent man, Professional Engineer, inventor (with several U.S. Patents), real-estate owner and animal lover. He worked hard every day of his life until he was physically unable to. Many knew him through one of his many businesses (Millwork Plus) and the local VFW, Elks, Eagles and American Legion Clubs.

A celebration of life will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at the Rochester VFW.
