Sheriff: Eden Township breaking and entering incidents ‘likely related’

The Mason County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two reports of breaking and entering, a home invasion and a stolen vehicle all in the same area of South Custer Road in Eden Township.

On Thursday, deputies responded at 2:03 a.m. to the 2900 block of South Custer Road for a home invasion and a stolen 2011 Chevy Malibu; at 7:47 a.m. in the 3000 block of South Custer Road to a breaking and entering/larceny of a bicycle; and at 8:56 a.m. to the 3400 block of South Custer Road for a breaking and entering of a garage.

Sheriff Kim Cole said the incidents are likely related. There is currently no suspect, he added.
