In order for the Scott Teays Lions Club to sell Christmas trees as a fund raising project, they must have additional manpower. The scouts of Troop 17 and their parents offered that service.

Nathan Wills, owner of Town and Country Supply in Nitro, was able to get Frazier fir trees for his business and for the Lions Club. Huntington Bank offered its parking lot, which is a very visible location. Wills even picked up the trees in Ghent, West Virginia, and delivered them to the Lions.

The Lions in the area are a small club and the Scouts completed the work schedule. It was a great partnership and maybe they can do it again next year.
