6,025 wild turkey licenses available for spring season
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota’s Game and Fish Department is offering 6,025 wild turkey licenses for this year’s spring hunting season, 370 more than last year.
Spring turkey licenses are available only to North Dakota residents. The deadline for applying is Feb. 13.
The spring turkey season opens April 13 and continues through May 19. Hunting Unit 21 in Hettinger and Adams counties will remain closed to turkey hunting again this year due to low numbers of the birds.
