Police: Roxbury man arrested for violating protective order
ROXBURY — A local man is facing a class D felony charge for violating a protective order by having ammunition and access to a firearm.
State police arrested Joseph Crowle, 27, at his Mallory Road home Saturday after he was found to be in possession of .22 caliber long rifle rounds and to have access to an Ithaca .22 caliber long rifle.
Crowle’s possession of the rounds and access to the gun were in violation of a standing criminal protective order taken out against him following a domestic violence arrest.
He was released on $15,000 professional surety bond and arraigned Monday.
