MPCC board approves Ryan Purdy’s contract
The Mid-Plains Community College Board of Governors unanimously approved a three-year contract for President Ryan Purdy at Wednesday’s regular meeting.
The contract adds the 2021-22 year to the existing three-year contract. The contract calls for a salary of $239,200 for the 2019-20 school year and increases 4 percent each year with an additional 1 percent contribution to the President’s retirement fund.
Purdy has been president of Mid-Plains since 2012. He was installed as interim president in January 2012 and then hired permanently in May 2012. Board member Kent Miller thanked Purdy for his work, not only with Mid-Plains but also with the things he does at the state level as well.
